Meet your practitioner

Jocelyn Karp is the founder and owner of Blue Monarch Healing, LLC. She is a Reiki Master/Teacher who offers Reiki healing sessions to both people and animals. For those inspired to walk a similar path and become a healer, she offers training and certification programs for each Reiki degree.

It is important to Jocelyn that everyone feels safe in a healing session. When you allow yourself to be vulnerable… great healing takes place.  As a healer, she helps individuals create balance and feel empowered to live authentic, happy lives. Through Reiki, she guides clients down the path of self-discovery, unconditional love, and healing.

Jocelyn received all Reiki certifications through Faith in Angels Healing Center, LLC located in Berlin, CT. She received Usui Shiki Royoho First Degree Reiki in March 2023. The following month she obtained Usui System of Natural Healing Second Degree Reiki certification. Finally, she completed her training with Reiki Master/Teacher Level Three certification in July 2024. 

Jocelyn is grateful to be able to work in service to those in need of healing, providing light & love, and a place to be vulnerable by holding space for them in her heart. 

When she is not practicing Reiki, Jocelyn works full-time for a large insurance company in Hartford, CT. She is married to a very supportive husband, and together they have a beautiful daughter who is going to make a tremendous impact on the world. 

In addition to Blue Monarch Healing, she and her husband own and manage a valet parking business. Jocelyn is described as thoughtful, quirky, creative, sensitive, driven, resilient and loyal. Her guilty pleasures are espresso martinis and charcuterie. Hobbies include yoga, gardening, reading, spending time at the beach and in nature, nurturing relationships with friends and family and of course Reiki!
